Events Co-ordinator, London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival
Salary: £22,179 – £25,947 per annum

The focus of our Festivals team is the delivery of both the London Film Festival and the London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival to the highest possible standard, for the benefit of filmmakers, audiences and film culture in general. The Events Co-ordinator will assist the Festival team by providing comprehensive support during the BFI’s 27th London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival.
The successful candidate will have experience of organising and managing events, with excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills. The post will deal with a wide range of internal and external clients; therefore the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels is important.
Experience of working in the film industry or an events environment, with good working knowledge of queer film and LGBT culture is essential for this role.
Candidates must be available to start within the week commencing Monday, 18 February 2013.
This post will be based at BFI Southbank (nearest station is Waterloo).
